HP introduced the Color LaserJet Enterprise M855 printer in February 2014, with print speeds OEM-rated at 45 pages per minute (ppm) in both color and monochrome, and a duty cycle of up to 175,000 pages per month. An MFP version is also available, the Enterprise M880, with print speeds OEM-rated at 46 ppm in both color and monochrome, and a duty cycle of up to 200,000 pages per month.
The standard supplies set for both models is made up of four toner cartridges yielding 31,500 pages for cyan, magenta and yellow and 29,000 pages for black, along with four separate 30,000 page drum units. Both toner cartridges and drum units require a chip for correct printer operation.
